Layers of Color Ornament Blog Hop

Welcome to the Layers of Color Ornament Blog Hop!
The beginning of the blog hop is at the Layers of Color blog. If you came here from Nina Brackett's blog, you are hopping in the right order.
This is the place to discover the newest creative paper ornament ideas, be inspired by talented designers, and get showered with gifts! Layers of Color is giving away:
FREE Ornament Templates!,
FREE Vintage Roses Ornament Tutorial!, and
6 drawings for a $20 Layers of Color Gift Certificate!
First, some ornament inspiration!...

I created this simple pocket ornament for the hop
using the *gorgeous* Christmas Blessings set

Since I'm not much of a colorer, I decided to use glitter on my stamped image instead!

Instructions:  Cut strip of cardstock 8" x 3 1/2". Trim top with Spellbinders Labels 18 die. Adhere sides of strip of paper to create pocket. Adhere block of paper to front of ornament base. Die cut label 18 shape and stamp image with black ink. Apply glitter to stamped image. Adhere image to card. Punch holes in side of ornament, thread gold trim through to create hanger. Fill inside of pocket with your choice of goodies.

GIFTS FOR YOU!...
Come get a FREE Vintage Roses Ornament Tutorial tomorrow, October 27th on Layers of Color blog!
My gift to you are chances to win a $20 Layers of Color Gift Certificate! To enter the drawing, you and at least one friend “like” Layers of Color Facebook page then comment on my blog. When they “like” ask them to comment on LOC Facebook that you sent them. Refer more friends for more entries! Leave me a comment mentioning which friends participated. Winner will be announced here tomorrow! And there are more gifts for you!...
...With every online purchase from Layers of Color boutique you will get an exclusive FREE Vintage Ornament Template designed by Laura Campbell! She made this sample using Glad Tidings art stamp set and Feather Twine. Your gift will be printed on cardstock ready for you to add your creative ideas with stamps and ink! Limited time only!

Rae, your coloring with stickles is a great to add just that extra little bling to a perfect ornament! Love the pocket idea, my hubby loves the smell of cinnamon so I think I'll do this with Cinnamon sticks hanging on a fresh bough of evergreen. I can almost smell it already! Thanks for the inspiration, Your ornament is great! Blessings :)
